Chatham Animal Hospital began in 1983 in downtown Cary as a one doctor one assistant facility at 251 West Chatham Street, the current home of Pretty Paws grooming salon owned and operated by Miss Kim McCampbell. After thoroughly enjoying being a part of Old Downtown Cary for 11 years our practice outgrew the facility necessitating a change. Fortunately we were able to find a building site at 105 Oceana Place near the Old Apex Road/West Chatham Street intersection only a few miles from the original site. Dr. Krakowski and a local builder designed the current hospital to provide an aesthetically pleasing but highly functional addition to the community while providing the best client and patient experience possible. Since completion in 1994 we have worked diligently to continue our tradition of exemplary medical and surgical services. In addition we were able to add boarding and grooming to the list. We strive to keep our facility new and current by constant upgrades and preventative maintenance. Please come by for a tour or take a look at the facility tour tab on the home page.
Our Professional staff includes Dr. David Krakowski (since 1983), Dr. Matt Bailey (since 2010), Dr. Morgan Craddock (since 2013), and our Hospital Manager, Mr. Christopher Falanga (since 2004).
