It's summertime and, while you love your furry family members, it's not always possible to take them on your family vacations. It's tough leaving your pets at home when you go on holiday, but you'll feel better knowing your dog or cat is safe and healthy with us at Chatham Animal Hospital. Every member of our staff cares for your pet like it's their own, and our Cary veterinarian is on call 24/7 to make sure your pet's stay is a healthy and safe one.
It's important that we know all about your pet's medical history before they stay with us. Our patients already have their records in our system, but if your pet is new to us, bring a copy of their veterinary record and immunization records, as well. We're happy to administer medication or take care of any chronic conditions your pet may have, but we need advance notice to be prepared.
The first goal of cat or dog boarding is for your pet to stay in a comfortable and stress-free environment. Bring a small, familiar item from home when you bring your pet to board with us. A favorite small blanket or stuffed toy that your pet recognizes will help soothe your pet's nerves during those first stressful hours.
We like to treat each dog or cat that stays with us as an individual. If your cat likes to be scratched behind its left ear, or if your dog's favorite game is "Find the Ball," let us know! We want to keep your pet happy while they are here, and treating it like family is a great way for us to do that.
Going away and leaving your pet at home is hard to do sometimes, but pet boarding in Cary doesn't have to be as stressful as you think. Give our office a call at (919) 469-8114 and we'll set a date to tour our facilities. Once we've answered all your questions, we'll make an appointment for your pet's stay in our Cary pet boarding facility.
