Dr. Pooch (pronounced Poke) was born and raised in coastal North Carolina and received her B.S. in zoology and animal science from North Carolina State University in 2018. She then made a big move and traveled to attend vet school at the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, graduating in 2022. Her veterinary special interests are internal medicine and nutrition.
During her four years overseas, Dr. Pooch developed a love for traveling and adventure. When not at work (or traveling), Dr. Pooch enjoys reading, hitting the gym, and watching science fiction with her two cats, who provide endless entertainment.
